Privacy Policy
Last updated: This policy describes how FastestWalk handles information when you use the app.
Information we use
When you use FastestWalk, your searches (e.g. place names, city names) are sent to third-party services (OpenStreetMap Nominatim for geocoding and OSRM for routing) to show results and routes. We do not collect, store, or have access to your searches or any personal data on our own servers.
Third-party services
We use:
- Nominatim (OpenStreetMap) – to look up places and areas. Their privacy policy applies to those requests.
- OSRM – to compute walking routes. Route requests are sent to their service; we do not store them.
- OpenStreetMap tiles – to display the map.
Local storage
We may use your browser’s local storage only to remember your cookie preference (if you accept the cookie banner). No personal data is stored.
